I Do

I've been married for just over 3 years now and have yet to scrapbook my wedding photos.  I mean I've done a few LO's here and there but haven't really done much.  I think one of my big problems is that I was really looking for a kit that could match to colors of my wedding and all of the kits fell short of my expectations. Inspired Designs by Crystal just released a new kit - Baptism - and when I saw it I thought that it might just work with my wedding pictures.  This kit has papers and embellishments that are in various shades of grey and white which really allow your pictures to **POP** off of the page!  It really solved my issue with not being able to find a kit that matched my colors just perfectly.  Now I think I can just let the photos speak for themselves.

Here is my LO done with the Baptism kit and my very precious wedding pics!

Perfect

Another SUN challenge LO for August!  I am only a few points away from getting a $10 coupon from the shop!!  Woo Hoo!  I absolutely love the "Capture It" challenge that goes on each month!  You have the option of just posting pictures that go with the theme (i.e. the not-so-great pics that you haven't deleted) or you can make a LO.  I've chosen to do a LO for this month and last month...it kind of challenges me and I have to do some journaling to make the pictures make sense in the LO!

So anyways the challenge: share some photos that aren't quite up to standard (should be super simple and guess what...it was!!)

And here's the LO for the Capture It challenge:

Goodnight My Sweet

Sunshine Studio Scraps is having another monthly template challenge (Guided Impressions)!!  Woo Hoo!!  Head over there if you want some good *FREE* template fun!!

Here's the template -created by Christy Haig this month:
I had some pictures of Jesse (I have a never ending supply of them) that I wanted to scrap and it just so happened that while I was away on vacation, Inspired Designs by Crystal released a new kit - Goodnight Sweetheart - that would work wonderfully with some sleepy time pics of my little man.  Here's my take on the challenge:

And matching templates!!

A Sweet Friendship

The family just got back from an awesome week long RV trip with some really good friends of our and their two little girls.  Now for a lot of people 4 adults, 2 babies, and a toddler may be just too much to handle but for us it was just right!  It helped to have a 32 foot long RV with 2 fairly large slideouts!!  It was so neat to see Jesse interact with the other little ones and watching the babies learn from each other!

I took a ton of pictures and I was super excited to start scrapping them right away.  Here's a LO with Jesse and Emery in the RV.

P365 Weeks 9 and 10

Yippy!  Making excellent progress on my P365 but I am still very far behind.  I will get it done though...that's right another personal challenge for myself!!  One of the most difficult things about getting behind on this kind of challenge is that some days I didn't journal anything and now a few months later I have to try to remember what went on for that day.

Here are my pages for weeks 9 and 10
