Week 38 - Happy Birthday

Well, I didn't make my Page A Day Challenge in time!  = (  I had 3 more pages left and just felt totally uninspired with them for some reason.  Maybe I just needed a break.  In the meantime, I've continued my P365 which will be up soon and some new pages for Susan Godfrey's two new kits (True Love and Sweet Romance) which will be released on the 12th.

Here is one of the 3 layouts left in my 52 Blessings Challenge from last year.

This layout was completed using Susan Godfrey's Birthday Boy kit.  I cut the cakes out of one of her papers to make the border.  The title was created by using the font PartybyTom and then filling with with paper and glitter from the Birthday Boy kit!  I absolutely love how the title turned out!!

Week 39 - It's A Beautiful Day

Layout 26 of 32...so I'm behind (once again) but I will catch up today!  Yesterday was my friends "Welcome Baby" get together and I've been in the very long process of making her little girl a baby blanket.  Yesterday was crunch time and I pretty much spent the whole day finishing up the blanket (just in time for the party)!

Week 37 - You're Not Alone

Layout 25 of 32...still on track even over the weekend which is so awesome!!  My to-list from last years album is so much smaller than my completed list now!!  Yay!

Very early Sunday morning (one of those time where Jesse was laying on my bladder and keeping me awake) I began to think about the LOs that are left.  I had a mental picture of how I wanted to do week 37 and this is pretty much it.  Only, while I was dozing off I had an amazing letter to my little guy included as part of the journaling.  However, when I got down to doing this page I really liked the simplicity of it and decided not to do the letter after all...I may change it later on.

Here is the kit that I used to create my layout.  I loved how it included soft tones in green and brown.  These happen to be some of my fav colors and the colors that I am using for my little guy's nursery.  I also loved how the kit had flowers that weren't super girly which worked really well for a baby boy page!

So today is January 13, 2011 and this is LO 13 of 32!!  I'm on track however, I'm going to have to fit in 2 LO's one of these day and I had better not take a day off!  I am so determined to finish my Page a Day challenge!!  Thanks to Pamela's sketches at Scrapbook Challenges all I have to worry about is what paper and embellishments are going to work with my pictures!!
