This Chick Can Rock LO

I created this layout using the free template from GingerScraps March Template Challenge.  I love the way the torn paper turned out and how perfectly my little sister's shirt goes with Crystal's (Inspired Designs) kit! I just wish I had some pictures of my little sister and her guitar, it would have been a great match!

Birthday Banner Hybrid

My little guy just turned 1 on the 26th!!  I knew I wanted to have a party for him (more for me) but I also knew I didn't want to go overboard!  I only wanted a few people over and I also wanted to keep it very simple!  For the decorations I was motivated to do a hybrid birthday banner and it actually turned out pretty cute!  I made the template myself, so I may just offer it as a freebie for those who use Creative Memories and as a PDF that can be printed off!  Stay tuned, there just might be some bday freebies!!

We Cherish You LO

I created this layout on my son's first birthday!  All day on the 26th, I couldn't help but recall the events that had  occurred a year before.  I remembered waking up with the start of contractions all the way to the next 24 hours when I finally was able to hold my precious son in my arms!  I am so amazed by him and the things he can do each and every day and I just cannot believe that a year has already passed by!

April Desktop Wallpaper

Here's my desktop wallpaper for next month!  I love the way it turned out!  I used the FREE template from Sugar Kissed Designs for the GingerScraps March Desktop Challenge.  In the template the calendar was really small but I like the calendar on my wallpaper to be fairly large, so I ended up putting my own spin on this freebie!  I also put the icons over on the left side so I left a large portion of that side empty.
