1981 LO

A few things about this LO...first, I used an amazing template from Jellebelleke's Designs (I love this template pack!!) and second I used one of my baby pictures.  Unlike most people, I only have a few of my baby pictures!!  My family members have more of my baby pictures than I do!!  So this was really neat to be able to scrap a LO using one of my handful of baby pics!!

I'm so thankful that my little guy has tons of pics already, but him being a boy he'll probably care less about it!  LOL!

The Little Stuff LO

One of my favorite people to scrap is my little sister!!  She is so beautiful inside and out!!  Here she is stopping to smell the roses!!  There's nothing like learning a lesson from a child...there's always time to "stop and smell the roses" and just appreciate the little things in our lives!!

Joy In Truth

One of my favorite bible verses (now that I'm a mom) has got to be

3 John 1:4

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth

Out of all of the things that I would like to impart to my son is a love for the LORD and a true relationship with HIM!!  

In this LO I used that special verse and one of my favorite pictures of my little guy!  He's wearing blue and laying on our blue comforter which makes his dark blue eyes really stand out!

Little Bird

I just love scrapbooking SO much!  Now that I have my son, I'm even more inspired to scrap each and every moment.  I mean I have more photos than I could ever know what to do with, but I don't mind trying to scrap as many as I can!  I just love this pic of my little guy while he was doing tummy time.  Here he is with his big chubby cheeks and his adorable smile!  

For this LO I used Passerotto by Scrappamondo.  The colors match my photo perfectly too!  I thought the quote was adorable (found it doing an internet search!!)  "I'm youth, I'm joy, I'm a little bird that has broken out of it's egg" - James M. Barrie

Happy to announce...

I am so excited to announce that I am on another CT!  Thank you Blue Heart Scraps for adding me to the team!  I can't wait for you all to see the amazing kits that she creates!  I've already had a chance to play with her newest creation B.F.F, a collaboration with Sanko Studio.  Her kit will release on Monday, but you can say that my blog is a sneak peak!

That's right, it's September!!  That means more challenges from Sunshine Studio Scraps!  I think the Capture It challenge has got to be one of my all time favorite challenges.  The funny thing is that you don't even have to scrap to participate... you could just post pictures if you wanted to.  This challenge has really allowed me to use pictures I probably wouldn't have used or in the way that I've used them.  It's also given me the opportunity to focus on journaling as well!

So this months Capture It challenge challenges you to take multiple pictures right in a row, then share at least 4 of them and explain which one is your favorite and why.  I think I kind of cheated because I wrote that these 4 were my favorites of the bunch that I took, but all well, I'm loving this layout.  Oh yes and this is point #12 which means that I now get a $10 gift certificate to the SUN shop!!!  YES!!

Awesome news...I just got accepted onto another CT!!  I am so excited to be a part of Christy Haig Creations creative team!!  Woo Hoo, I cannot wait to work with all of her amazing templates!!
