Monkey-ing Around Blog Train LO

Way back at the beginning of this month (seems like forever ago!!) I posted about the Monkey-ing Around Blog train.  Well that was also when I was accepted onto IDBC's CT and I showed you all the kit she had made for the Blog Train!  I have finally made a layout using her Monkey-ing Around Blog Train 2011 contribution as well as her #1 Daddy kit!

I did this LO as part of the June Challenges over at Sunshine Studio Scraps.  This LO was for the Guided Impressions challenge where you are given a template and challenged to make it your own!  Here's what the template looks like:

Another Expecting: A Boy Kit LO!

Well clearly I am enjoying scrapping with Inspired Designs by Crystal's products!  I couldn't help myself; I just had to do another LO with this Expecting: A Boy Kit!  I honestly should do an album of my now 3 month old little guy with this kit but I have a hard time doing whole albums!!

So I found this super cute picture of my little brother when he was about 3 years old.  It was so adorable with him flexing and showing off his muscles!  lol!!  I just had to scrap this picture!

Another #1 Daddy Kit LO!

The #1 Daddy Kit by Inspired Designs by Crystal was so much fun  to work with I decided to create another LO!  In this one I used a picture of my dad and my little brother when he was about 3 years old.  He's now all grown up, married, and a new daddy himself!

Our Family Story Collab Kit & LO

Well hello there my fellow scrappers!  I hope that you have had a wonderful weekend full of family adventures and awesome scrapping!  I just had to share the new collab kit by Inspired Designs by Crystal and Jen C. June Color Splash LO

Over at Sunshine Studio Scraps they do a monthly Color Splash.  The designers get a color scheme that they all use when creating their kits.  This is such a fun idea because you can purchase several different kits and mix and match almost like a mega kit.

The month of June is nice and sunny; filled with lots of water photos and outdoor fun!  That's why it only makes sense to have some bright primary colors to work with!  Here is what Crystal designed:

#1 Daddy kit and new LO

Time to start celebrating daddy's everywhere!!  Father's day is this Sunday in case you may have forgotten!  This  Father's Day will be my husband's very first so I'm excited that I get to make is special for him!!!

Inspired Designs by Crystal has just released a new Father's Day kit just in time for the holiday and trust me I had fun playing with it.  It's nice when you have a kit that has a color pallet and embellishments that can compliment all of those daddy pictures!!

So here is a look at this new kit, #1 Daddy:

To go along with this kit Crystal has also made some custom word art.  In her shop she also has other word art celebrating the dad!

First CT work for Inspired Designs and Freebies!!

So last week I got to do my first CT work for Inspired Designs by Crystal!  I was so excited to get to work with her product and was anxiously awaiting to see the new kits she would have her new CT gals work on.  As I have mentioned before on my blog, I have a new baby boy (11 weeks old now!!) so I was even more excited when I found out Crystals 2 newest kits have a baby theme!  I love the colors, the patterned papers, the embellishments...pretty much everything about these kits!!

I also have to say that Crystal has an amazing Creative Team!!  I am SO inspired by their LO's and the use of Crystal's product!  I found myself looking at their work thinking "Wow, I would have never thought of doing that"!  I'm looking forward to working with the CT gals and Crystal and seeing what else they create!!

Blog Train & Other Great News!!

First of all...

Those of you who frequent Digishoptalk.com may be familiar with the Blog Train!!  But for those of you who haven't been to DST let me explain...

Every other month DST asks digi designers if they'd like to make a mini kit based upon a particular theme and color scheme.  Around 100 designers participate by making their mini kit available at the first of the month.  You (the lucky down loader) get on the train and start down loading away.  You get to check out each person's blog AND you get an amazing HUMONGOUS kit...for FREE!!

This month's theme is Monkeying Around and I've just gotten off of this awesome blog train!!

If you want to check it out (train's taking passengers for the whole month!!!) you can check out The Blog Train Blog.  I'm so excited to see what the designers come up with in August for the next blog train!!
